I feel bad for them especially if I hear their personal stories. The fact remains they are coming illegally, committing crimes & have respect for the country they’re invading.

The US as a nation is not the world’s carekeeper. It’s called limited resources to care for a population of people larger than many American cities.
The problem needing to be addressed is the conditions back in their own countries of origin not US compassion. Years of paperwork and a very high denial rate even after that paperwork is a major reason why we have so many people just showing up.
