I heard a guy on the news say 8.3% is 1/12 and that means over a year we will have lost
one month’s income in regard to purchasing power. That point of view gets your attention.

The VP just gave a speech telling everybody how good our economy is, and the White House was set for a celebration of their accomplishment today until the inflation numbers came out and the stock market started to bleed.
