Politics is about survival of the method of collecting protection money. That’s a long truth from the early days of civilization. In the US, which means the FDA and the DoD, so it does seem today, with maybe the FDA ascendant, the biggest protection racket in history. Not China.
I love when people tell me about the polio vaccine. You had to get the polio vaccine to go to school or work. You’re correct we did, the difference is, it worked. We got the vaccine and a wild thing happened. We did not get Polio. Also smallpox anecdote -took decades of concentrated vax campaigns across globe with sterilizing vax to eradicate. The only virus ever eradicated completely-also with small risk of actually getting the disease from vax. But cannot in any way discuss possible risks of Covid-19 vax!
