I feel like happiness can only be achieved in two ways,
improve your reality or lower your expectations.
If you lower your expectations too much, you won’t be happy.
But I totally understand what you mean!
You can’t always control circumstances that would make someone unhappy – however you can overcome them with the right attitude. Happiness is fleeting anyway, joy is deep. No such thing as happiness or its polar opposite.
For those people who’s expectations have been met by the Biden presidency, they have set their expectations to the lowest level humanly possible.
Never ever ever lower your expectations.
