There are plenty of ways to bring your manifestations into fruition, including the 
3-6-9 method. Today, we will discuss Neville Goddard’s 369 technique (3 6 9 method) for manifesting what you want. Goddard’s method for manifesting includes a practice called Scripting. Scripting is the act of writing down what you want on a piece of paper
or in a journal to set your intentions. The 3-6-9 method is a simple manifestation of manifesting with the law of attraction.
The saying is, “if you want something to manifest, write it down.” That’s why we created our fun law of attraction worksheets. Scripting is a powerful way to attract what you want. In this article, you will learn two different ways to use the 3-6-9 method to manifest what’s on your mind.
  
How to Use the 3-6-9 Technique for Manifestation
As previously stated, there are two formats circulating around the cyber world.
We will discuss both of them. 369 methods have received great results for people all over the world. They have the same concept: script a statement three times, then six times, and then nine times. The difference between the two methods is what you’re saying at each step. Feel free to try both!

First Version:
This version incorporates the 17 second rule. Abraham Hick’s 17-second rule is the act of holding and focusing on what you want to manifest. When you start with one thought and focus on it, then the second thought will come, and so and so forth.
Once you have held onto that thought, your manifestation begins to happen.
All you have to do is visualize and keep yourself in a high vibration standpoint.
First, you will start with the number three. You will write a sentence based on what you want to manifest. Remember, you should be specific. Include anything you want included. For example, if you want a new car then you should include if you want it paid off in cash or not. Write a full complete sentence. Repeat that sentence two more times.

The “3” is typically completed in the morning.
At the midpoint of your day, you should write this same sentence six times. There doesn’t have to be a specific time in which you need to complete this exercise. It is recommended that you do this while you are feeling good! Never try to script while you are in a bad, sad, or anxious mood. Your manifestations won’t come if you are trying to manifest from a low vibration point.
Before you go to sleep, write out your statement nine times. Visualize what you’re writing. Visualize having what you want. You can visualize as much as you want. However, make sure you feel good when you’re doing it. You can think about something that makes you happy prior to visualizing. After you have written out your statements, quickly think about something else. Detaching is very important.

Second Version
This version of Goddard’s manifestation technique is similar, yet different.
No need to fret, we will explain how to go about it as well. You still need to follow
the three sentences, six sentence, and nine sentence structure.
Your first line will simply state the object or person in which you are trying to manifest.
If you are trying to manifest a specific person, you will write their name. Write down the name of the person or object three times. If it is money that you are trying to manifest, then you need to put the specific amount. Remember, the name of the person or object needs to be written three times.
Your second set should consist of your intentions.
What do you want to happen? Write it out a total of six times.
It is understood that this will happen right after you write your three-sentence set.
The last set will consist of nine sentences written by you. Write out what your actions
will be in a sentence. Repeat this sentence eight more times.
Remember, you will write out this sentence a total of nine times.

What to Do After Completion

If you have practiced one of the two methods, then you may be wondering what to do next.
The simple answer is to visualize what you want happening to you. Visualize the outcome of what you want. It is most effective to do so from a good feeling place to give your manifestation momentum.
You do not have to script every day. You only have to ask once.
Be sure to put a date on which you would like to receive your manifestation.
The only thing you need to do is focus on protecting your energy and keeping your vibrations high. Practice activities that put you in a good mood. Listen to your favorite songs and sing along, exercise, treat yourself, hang out with friends, etc.

Tesla’s ‘Divine sequence’ of numbers. 
By using the 3 6 9 sequence you will write out your affirmation statement 3 times in the morning, 6 times in the afternoon and 9 times in the evening.
Nikola Tesla was one of the great mathematical and scientific minds of the 20th century. He had a prolific career, and his list of inventions goes on and on.
Despite being a scientist, Tesla had a very spiritual approach to life and mathematics.
He strongly believed that numbers help the key to creation.
If you only knew the magnificence of the 3, 6 and 9, then you would have a key to the universe…if you need to discover the secrets in the universe, you need to view things with a perspective of how much energy they carry, their frequency, and their vibrations. – Nikola Tesla

Like many mathematicians at the time, they believed that there was some sort of ‘hidden code’ in creation that could reveal the mind of God and creation.
Understanding energy, matter and creation may not be found in a mathematical formula but it does shed some light on how patterns repeat and how energy becomes matter.
While the numbers 3, 6 and 9 show some significant repetitions in patterns of nature it certainly does not translate into many of the more modern interpretations of manifestation through quantum physics.
As a method, this certainly does have an interesting ‘hook’ and whether it is just hype or not, it could be a method worth deploying your own life.
I’ve written a more in-depth article about the theory behind the 3 – 6 – 9 methods previously and will discuss the actual method in more detail below.

How To Do The 3 6 9 Manifestation Method for Maximum Results
Learning how to do the 3 6 9 manifestation method is not hard at all. The only real twist with this method as opposed to many others is the 3 – 6 – 9 sequences.
There is of course a lot of debate about this approach, and I will talk about this in more detail later. For now, let’s get into the actual method and how to best practice it.

The 5 Steps to Do The 3 6 9 Manifestation Method is:

Step #1: Create a Clear Intention
Like any other manifestation method, you need to know exactly what you want to manifest. Clarity really is power.
You need to know exactly what it is that you want and the more detail you have the better. Detail helps you build the image, and it is the visualization more than the thought that invokes the law of attraction.
Having an intention is more than just having a clear idea of what you want. When you have an intention, you have a mindset that claims the idea as part of your future reality.
It is more than just having a desire. Desires and dreams tend to remain outside of yourself. Intentions are internalized. You claim it as yours even though it is not in your reality yet.

Step #2: Turn Your Intention into a Statement or Affirmation
Now that you have a clear intention and you know exactly what you want to manifest in your life, you need to turn it into an affirmation.
With the 3 6 9 manifestation method you can get a bit ‘wordier’ than you would with short affirmations.
Your affirmations should describe exactly what you want to manifest in as much detail as you can, and it should be worded as a positive statement in the present tense.
I John now drives a beautiful 2022 black Mercedes C9 with white leather seats.
I see myself sitting in the driver’s seat, smelling that wonderful new car smell and
I can hear all my friends congratulating me on my new car.
Use whatever language makes you ‘see’ yourself already having it.
Refine your statement until it is something that really resonates with
you and then fix that statement in your mind and on paper.

Step #3: Affirm It in the 3 6 9 Sequence
This is where the 3 6 9 sequence comes in and it was borrowed from Nikola Tesla
and his belief that these numbers are in fact the Divine code of creation.
You will set aside 3 blocks of time throughout your day. Preferably in the morning
as soon as you wake up, in the afternoon and then in the evening just before bedtime.

In the morning, you will write out your affirmation 3 times.
In the afternoon you will write out your affirmation 6 times.
In the evening you will write out your affirmation 9 times.

I would urge you to start a journal and to always write it in the same journal and
develop a routine. The key to writing out the affirmations is to actually write it by hand.
There is a connection between your brain and your hand and when you see it on paper, you read it out loud as you write it, and you use your imagination to ‘see’ what you are affirming, you are fully engaged in the idea.

Step #4: Let It Go ‘In Between’
These 3 sessions won’t take up much of your time at all.
The secret is not to rush though it or to engage in it as a chore.
It should be something that excites you.
Visualizing what you want to manifest has to make you feel excited – otherwise you need to rewrite your affirmation or up your desire to something that will excite you.
During each session you need to be fully engaged but in between these sessions you need to let go. You relax and let go and release any tension.
Do not try to do more or to be proactive in any way.
When spontaneous manifestation shows up, act on it but not with force.
When synchronicities happen, get excited and notice them, but do not try and make it happen.

Step #5: Persist For 3 Months
This is by far the hardest part and the one that people want to hear the least.
You will need to remain persistent for at least 3 months.

Why 3 months?
The latest studies point to the fact that establishing new patterns of thought require an average of 90 days of consistent conditioning.
In reality that is what you are doing here. You are reconditioning your mind to think in a new way.
You are conditioning yourself to think in terms of having what you want instead of not having it.
Everyone can do something for a few days. The real; question is whether you can be disciplined enough to do it EVERY day for 3 months?
If you really want to do the 3 6 9 manifestation method to the full and really put it to the test, commit to doing it for 90 days.
Get your journal and block out the next 3 months.
On day one, turn to day 90 in your journal and write ‘success’. Get excited and see yourself on this day. Feel the joy of the accomplishment and get excited.

Does This Method Really Work or Is It the Placebo Effect at Work?
Tesla found great mathematical significance in the numbers 3, 6 and 9.
The way these numbers repeated in patterns of nature, in scientific formulas and how he used this knowledge to solve many scientific problems he faced is undeniable.
To take the significance of 3,6 and 9 from the realm of the scientific and apply it in such an elementary way to affirmations and manifestation is highly questionable.
Not only does it seem like a very weak translation of such a complex scientific number sequence, but the method also itself has very little substance.

Many people claim to have a lot of success when they do the 3 6 9 manifestation method and I suspect that their success is not based on the actual method of repeating their affirmations in a certain sequence.
It is rather the fact that they are diligently repeating their affirmations but mostly it is the placebo effect at work.
It is not what you believe in that ‘works’ but rather the belief itself that ‘makes it works.
If ‘everybody’ has success with it, that in itself can create the belief in you.
We see this trend everywhere and there has been a proliferation of this kind of stuff through social media.
As a manifestation method, doing the 3 6 9 approach has a ‘trendy hook’ with Tesla
but in reality, it is just the repetition of affirmations that really makes it work.

Affirmations work, but they only work if you believe they work and only if you really work hard at it.
The exact same approach can be found in the 55 x 5 manifestation method which uses the same logic.
By writing out your affirmations 55 times a day for 5 days it really drills an idea into your subconscious mind.
In my opinion this method is much more effective and scientifically it is much sounder. We know that it takes an immense amount of repetition to undo years of subconscious programming.
To do the 3 6 9 manifestation method may not be enough.
Yes, the addition of your belief (or even conviction) that the strategy works really does help, for most people it probably won’t.

Manifestation Methods and The Power of Affirmations
Even though I have my doubts about the legitimacy of this strategy as a ‘method’,
there’s ample evidence to point to the fact that this could in fact work.

None of the ideas in this method is really new or groundbreaking.
The practice of using affirmations to manifest is nothing new.
In fact, most manifestation methods use this in some shape or form.
The basic premise is that you control and direct your thoughts, your energy and your attention towards something very specific that you want to manifest in your life.
Doing this for long enough will invoke the law of attraction and you will attract to yourself that which you place your energy and your attention on.
Writing exercises work well simply because it helps your mind focus better.
The act of writing removes many mental distractions.
Simply trying to recite affirmations or to direct your mind silently can be a real challenge.

There are just too many distractions in life.
Sitting down, removing outside distractions and really focusing on exactly what you want to manifest is really powerful – whether you do it for one minute or for one hour.
The key to this overall strategy is firstly to really focus vibrationally on what you DO want.

Secondly, you have to do this for long enough to really create the intensity to shift your thinking and emotions. Does writing your affirmations 1000 times make it work better than writing it 3, 6 or 9 times?
From my personal experience and everything I’ve learned studying this over the last 22 years is that more tends to be better. The caveat though is that blind repetition will get you nowhere.
The real question is how long can you change your focus from your current reality to that of your future reality; that which you want to manifest?
What I have found is with people who seem to effortlessly manifest anything they put their mind to is that they become very set on exactly what they want to manifest.
They can remain intensely focused on that one idea, dream or desire to the point where they simply do not allow thoughts of doubt to take over.

The idea that really rang true is that three of the key aspects to happiness include having someone to love, something to do, and something to look forward to. When I reflect on my life, and the lives of my many patients, this saying really seems accurate.
The idea behind this saying really captures the importance of having at least one other significant person in your life, being active and/or filling your life with things that you enjoy, and planning things so that there is something that you are able to get excited about and work your way towards.

SOMEBODY TO LOVE

Having someone to love does not necessarily mean that you have to be in an intimate, romantic relationship. This “someone to love” could be a romantic partner, but it does not have to be. Perhaps it is a parent, a sibling, a child, or even a friend. And of course, we can’t rule out that “someone” to love can absolutely include a pet that you adore and care for. Essentially the “someone” in this saying is really any other being than yourself.
This is important because we are humans, and humans need interaction. Even though there are some people who can go without much interaction, especially when compared to highly social people, humans by nature are social beings. Therefore, it is crucial to our mental and emotional well-being that we have at least one other significant person or being (yes, pets included!) in our life that we can spend time with, care for, laugh with,
and feel connected to.

SOMETHING TO DO
Having something to do gives your life purpose.

Many people will initially relate this to having a job or a career, but the idea of having something to do does not necessarily mean so. Rather, having something to do means having an activity or a task each day that gives you purpose.
Perhaps this activity is volunteering, gardening, crafting, parenting, cooking, etc.
Something to do simply means having something to focus your efforts on and fill your time. There are many, many things to do for each and every type of person regardless of situation or circumstance. Find something you enjoy and go for it.

Even though it is incredibly important to be content in life and to not constantly be
looking to the next thing (or you might miss the present moment), there is something to be said about having something, or many things, to look forward to. That type of excitement cannot be replicated. In a previous blog, I wrote about being present in the moment and not allowing the future to steal your time from you. While you don’t want to allow the future to steal your present, it’s still important and part of happiness to have things in life that you look forward to.
Maybe it is a big event such as a wedding, birthday party, vacation,
or maybe it is something small such as getting together with a friend for dinner.
Maybe it is the approaching weekend and knowing that you are going to hit the hiking trail, start reading a good book, or head out to the beach. Whatever it is in your life that you look forward to, having something to look forward to is critical to happiness.

Take notice of them and increase your happiness.


If any of these things seem to be missing in your life, look a little bit deeper.
It is very possible that those elements are present, but you have yet to give them as much credit as they deserve.
