In a 6-year period, with a 125-year database, the odds of having the hottest event would be <10% per county. That just means by simple role of the dice you would have little over 300 per any 6 years naturally. Not 1500. It gets more complex because of course the odds of one county breaking records and not its immediate neighbors is extremely rare.

It’s called weather. Changes constantly. Other areas of the world are colder than usual, but that is not being advertised for some reason… Ever wonder why not? Probably true but if you go back for the last twelve thousand years it was probably colder on average each year and if you go to the next twelve thousand years it’s going to get hotter again it’s a natural cycle you stupid fucks.
