I’d say so. John Hurt plays the lead, so acting is good. It was made in 1984, so don’t expect great cinematography/special effects – v gritty, dark & disturbing. Animal Farm next, but maybe keep it lighter with the animated version!

I didn’t know that about Orwell but Huxley was certainly well connected and his book Brave New World was prophetic. How many of us have re-watched the film version of 1984 in the last year?!
