The conversation was the only television interview he ever granted. Greer said he heard the first shot and thought it was a motorcycle next to the motorcade. It wasn’t until the second shot that he knew something was wrong. Greer never shot Kennedy. His driving actions, though, did enhance the ease of the assassins to hit their target. By coming to a near stop during the shooting spree, JFK was a much easier target.
