Your Story Matters

Looking back to May 2014 when we first started the Solitarius facebook group.  We had a cancer coach  on board  DrTamara Hartley Hunt.  Whom always had others interest at heart. Most recently the start of June,  I heard that Dr. T  passed away from colorectal cancer…. being first  diagnosed May 26, 2012.  With my inner thoughts also telling me being that healing is about Mind, Body in Spirit…. to truly heal one must be totally focus on themselves.

In DrT own words from her personal blog post. When I received this news       I honestly couldn’t believe it. Then I remember back to DrT talks inbox and    it became clear to me.  That maybe…. one just needs to focus on themselves and listen to what your heart tells you. DrT was always on the go ~ in a rush  to help others and neglected maybe what she may have needed !!!  That said I truly miss DrT from our group because she truly had a huge heart.

I finally decided to post this is because I  figured DrT would have wanted     it this way.  TO Let everybody  know  to  look  after  your  own  well being. TO Totally focus on your own healing first !!!

That said, On January 2, 2002;  Johanna McClure was diagnosed with stage IV Ovarian cancer.  After  an  amicable  divorce  from  her  husband     of twenty  five years.  Johanna  found herself  in a position to redefine her future. She had a huge change of life as she returned to school and earned and received her bachelors degree at age  forty – nine.

She then pursued her dream job, bought her own home,  fell in love and eventually moved to another town. After a wonderful Christmas spent with her family.  Johanna experienced severe bloating  and discomfort;  she was miserable. A CT Scan revealed ovarian cancer. Johanna immediately began treatment and took the first steps on a nine year journey.

After going through cut, burn and poison, remission and relapse would again change her entire world.  Johanna has been a decade long survivor. While showcasing hope, determination and endurance. She has written a book “I’m Living With It Not Dying from It”  and is constantly on the go — while visiting her one daughter that lives in North Carolina.
