The Cancer Cascade: Some people say its the weakening of the immune system or it comes from the central nervous system is the reason some people get cancer. While having others say, But Ken I never catch a cold and I have cancer and my mother she’s a nervous wreck and a worry wart and she doesn’t have cancer. While other say cancer derives from chronic inflammation.
So lets take a look at that third proposal: Scientists have discovered that internal chronic inflammation prevents the body from optim…ally metabolizing iron — a key nutrient that plays a critical role in the production of thyroid hormones. When the body has the iron is needs it stores any excess for future use.
Chronic inflammation hinders this process — which then keeps hepcidin levels elevated. Trapping iron in cells so the body can’t metabolize it. When hepcidin levels are elevated, the body decreases its absorption of iron from food. Therefore, a thyroid starved of iron becomes sluggish and metabolism slows to a creeping weight gain.
Thereby, when people are over weight… inflammatory markers and hepcidin levels can increase 8 fold. Since iron is needed to produce hemoglobin. A protein that helps deliver oxygen throughout the body… this imbalance ….can manifest itself as a general malaise. Patients with low iron and hypothyroidism sometimes can’t manage to make lifestyle changes.
The logical first step to this turn around must be to start an iron repletion and anti – inflammatory diet. When one does this they feel more energized within a week or two. When you become accustomed to running around with oxygen depletion to your brain and organs you often notice a difference rapidly.
Food pairings are best to rev up metabolism: enjoying iron rich fare with a source of vitamin C doubles iron metabolism. While also dialing down inflammation to swiftly revitalize the thyroid. Some examples would be: red pepper slices dipped in hummus, or 3 tbs. of cashews or almonds and a handful of strawberries.
Some interesting comments from the Facebook GroupPage. I never get sick but developed cancer and recently discovered parasites after doing a cleanse.. So I agree with you Anita.. I have had debilitating GI issues for over 10 years now and have had just about every test under the sun… Someone mentioned SIBO on here… I had never heard of it so I started researching.. I took a specimen in to my GI to send to parasitology and I’m getting tested for SIBO. Not one doctor… all this time has ever or even suggested I be checked for parasites.. If surgeons discover parasites during surgery why wouldn’t they say something to the patient? I’ve got the creeps from this, however, I’m glad to be getting answers to my chronic gut issue I just hope there hasn’t been too much nerve damage… This topic seems to be a trend with cancer I believe that chronic inflammation is what lead to my decline in health and cancer.
Achieving Alkalinity: Changing Your pH Balance.
The human must maintain its own perfect pH level in order for its systems to function properly, and this includes keeping these rogue cells from becoming metastatic disease, translating into cancerous tumors in multiple organs. Our ancestors didn’t eat in a way that upset this delicate balance in our bodies.
Anti-inflammatory diet, mostly fruit, cells in our body need fruit sugar to cleanse, and regenerate….meditation, light exercise, deep breathing, eliminate all acidic foods, thoughts, emotions…situations. Attitude plays a huge part! People must believe they will heal. The mind tells the body what to do. It seems people are wanting to take supplements, and all kinds of other things…so I didn’t think a more simple approach would be listened to this…
Adjusting your diet is perhaps the single most important home remedy to relieve the symptoms of acidity. Certain foods are known triggers for acid reflux and with others it may not bother other people.
Common food triggers include:
•citrus fruits and juices
•tomatoes, marinara sauce, and tomato juice
•fried or greasy foods
•fatty foods
•milk chocolate
•onions and garlic
•carbonated soft drinks and water
•caffeinated beverages (even decaf coffee)
•peppermint
•alcohol
Keep a food journal to record what you eat and when, and any accompanying GERD symptoms such as heartburn, difficult swallowing, chest pain, or sore throat. Your journal can help you pinpoint specific triggers and may be useful in determining appropriate mealtimes. Eating smaller meals throughout the day can curb symptoms. Large meals put excess pressure on your stomach, which can weaken your lower esophageal sphincter.
You can also treat acid reflux by adding certain foods to your diet. Antioxidant-rich fruits, such as blackberries, blueberries, and cherries may ease your symptoms. Foods containing vitamin B-6 may be beneficial as well. For example:
•almonds
•spinach
•kale
•beans
•whole grains
Can you guess which foods don’t contain methionine? Fruit! Also Many cancer patients I have encounter are afraid to eat fruit because they heard that “sugar feeds cancer.” This interview will provide you with clarity about that misunderstood idea, and details on this healing strategy (see the show notes).
