II. Dr. Russell Blaylock: A Board Certified Neurosurgeon, An Author and lecturer; whom attended L.S.U. School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisana. Completing his general internship and neurosurgical residency at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, S.C. V. Dr. James Meschino: a Canadian chiropractic and nutritional practitioner, author and educator. Also being recognized as an expert in the field of anti – aging, fitness and wellness. He is the founder of the Renai Sante Institute of Integrative Medicine, as well as The Associate Professor at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College.
Dr. Meschino is a fellow of the Academy of Anti – Aging Research, and also Associate Professor at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto, Ontario. He received both his medical degree and under graduate degree in biology from Harvard University. Andrew Weil also, believes combining the Western methods of doctors; while incorporating alternative therapies, such as omega 3 fatty acids, vitamin D, some types of medicinal mushroom, herbal remedy, meditation and spiritual strategies utilized in conjunction.
Dr. Andrew’s strongest influences are the late osteopath Robert Fulford, who specialized in cranial manipulation; Martin Seligman, director of the Positive Psychology Center at the University of Pennsylvania, and also Stephen Ilardi, professor of Psychology at the University of Kansas, and author of the Depression Cure. Solitarius being a website for the prevention of cancer, however, Alzheimer’s disease might well be considered an epidemic in our country. With also more than 5.3 million Americans diagnosed with the disease and that number expected to double by 2030 impacting our health care.
With a past article appearing in the New York Times that was entitled: “Years Later, No Magic Bullet Against Alzheimer’s Disease.” That clearly led readers to believe… that nothing a person does changes the course of their destiny. However, Dr. Rachel Whitmer; a research scientist at the Kaiser Permanente of North California states, “those with high amounts of body fat increases their Alzheimer’s risk 293 percent compared to those with low body fat.” (It’s important to have a good fat ratio to bad fat?)
