We most certainly can’t run scared about everything that causes cancer. If that would be the case… than we would be running scared of everything. My newest blog post will try to expose some of the greatest reasons of why cancer is greater in some areas and not the others. While trying to bring to the forefront cancer awareness, hopefully, making people a tougher target of attracting this dreadful disease.
First when I started to explore the causes and effects of cancer. I begin to checkout common denominators of cancer, especially focusing on why children in some areas are more likely to get cancer. In some states where cancer is low (Utah, Wyoming, Idaho, New Mexico and Nevada.) Where the vast majority of the states percentages are below the National Average of 14.0 out of 100,000 for childhood cancers.
The city dwelling metro areas show an increase in childhood cancer rates compared to the less sprawing rural areas. Where lead indexes are higher signifying ~ lead exposure possibly from greater population. With car vehicle usage, more households and just general pollution causing the health concerns. It’s true in the early 1970’s we went unleaded in our cars and pickups.
However it’s still a possibility that lead is being thrust into the precious air we breath through greater means. It’s true we can’t concern ourselves with every little thing or life wouldn’t be what it is. However, in counties where lead can be a culprit we should throw caution to the wind. With the certain precautions mandatory like water filters being a must.
