I’m not one to watch alot of television, otherwise consider the idiot box. Named that…. because of the numerous idiots that are on it and for that matter even watching it. However, when I do watch television I normally watch PBS specials or shows for example Your Health. Today Richard and his charming wife Cindy Becker had a show about the importance of protein and how it benefits your life as you age.
As we age scaropenia (muscle wasting) becomes quite obvious in a majority of us. Scaropenia has a more devastating impact on our economy than does osteoporosis (the weakening of the bone as we age.) While also estimates over the next 25 years…. that the total number of adults over 65 years are suppose to double. This will produce a sharp increase in the cost related to treating scaropenia.
Recent studies indicate, not only, muscle mass, but also, muscle weakness, as an independent variable, and emerging data suggests this maybe even more important as a predictor of related health issues. While this age related phenomenon isn’t fully understood. Fortunately resistance exercise combined with adequate amounts of protein that is effective for both facts on cancer prevention and treatment.
However disability and related health problems may limit one’s ability to exercise. Therefore this stresses the importance of adopting an active, healthy lifestyle that incorporates resistance training exercises and also essential protein long before one approaches advanced age. While the best approach would be to incorporate a whey source into your diet 30 minutes after exercise when your body is most ramped up to receive it.
Along about the ages of 35 to 45 years of age…. are bodies start to slump while are muscle mass deteriorate. This is one of the main reasons athletes start losing their edge and talent levels dip after going through their prime. While we enter into our early 50’s we see a stark difference in performance and as we enter into our golden years some become frail…. from the aging process of growing elderly and less active.
When we establish reasons for this fraility and techniques of preventing the fight against aging. We must consider the importance of exercise and nutrition in our diets. What exercise does… is keeps your metabolism ramped, cholosterol level in checked and your cardio vascular system in working order and musclar system strong.
It will also help with the inflammatory response to chronic stress and dysfunctional cortisol. While nutritionalists are always looking at the possible effects that these telemores have on your body. These telemores can be looked upon as the wick of a candle and how it keeps your candle light burning bright throughout your golden years.
When you take into account how chronic stress, dysfunctional cortisol and the aging process affects your chances of getting cancer. You can also see how protein might impact your immune system and the vary telemores that can have an exact bearing on your DNA Strands that can change and mutate and become also malignant facts on cancer.
