Liver Cancer: hepatic cancer originates in the liver, from malignant tumors that grow in the surface or inside the liver. Liver cancer should not be confused with liver metastasis, which are cancers that originate from organs elsewhere in the body and migrates to the liver. The biggest known cause of liver cancer just might happen to be the chronic Hepatitis B and C infections can lead to liver cancer (You can’t live with a unhealthy liver!!)
Hepatocellular carcinoma accounts for most liver cancer and this type of cancer occurs more often in men than woman. It is usually seen more often in people, age 50 or older, however, age does differ in different parts of the world. Childhood vaccinations against hepatitis B may reduce the risk, however, avoid drinking excessive amounts of alcohol. If you have chronic hepatitis or known cirrhosis, periodic screening with ultra sound or blood alpha fetoprotein test may help detect liver cancer early.
I happenstance across a blog post “The Cancer Assassin,” telling of the BitterSweet Beneficial Effects of Intravenous Vitamin C and chemotherapy in unison alleviating the harsh side effects. Laura York from Portland, Ore. being a Survivor and Showing Strength High a Top The Mountain. Caring4 Cancer|What Causes Liver Cancer: Generally cancer begins when genetic mutation (changes in certain genes) turns normal healthy into abnormal cells.
Lung Cancer: a disease characterized by uncontrollable cell growth in tissues of the lung. If left untreated, this growth may spread beyond the lung in a process called metastasis into nearby tissue and, eventually into other parts of the body. Most cancers that start in the lung, known as primary lung cancers are carcinomas that derive from epithelial cells.
The main types of lung cancer are small cell lung carcinoma (SCLC), also called oat cell cancer, and non – small cell lung carcinoma (NSCLC). The main common cause of lung cancer is long term exposure to tobacco smoke. While non – smokers account for 15% of lung cancer cases, with these cases often attributed to a combination of genetic factors, radon gas, asbestos, and air pollution including secondhand smoke.
Other common cancers that effect the lungs are carcinoid, a rare, slow – motion disease that often attacks the gastro intestinal tract where hormones are produced sometimes showing ~ up in the lungs. Carcinoid tumors are often benign neuroendocrine types that never spread. All neuroendocrine tumors should be examine by a medical professional.
Whereas the National Cancer Center and National Institute of Health in Maryland calls for some what NEW type of advance treatment called Continuous Hyperthermic Peritoneal Perfusion (C.H.P.P.) When it comes to lung cancer, one of the biggest killers of people is often under funded with only $1,300 going toward lung cancer research @ patient. Whereas, breast cancer obtains between $20,000 to $23,000 …. while prostate gets $18,000. Quite a stigma …. considering that 16,000 lung cancer deaths are recorded each year in the United States facts on cancer. (Proton therapy.)
Within every lung disease: Vitamin D plays a vital role in preventing it before it happens. With Bronchiectasis showing the airways slowly losing their ability to clear mucus and as it builds up bacteria begins to grow that causes infections which injures the walls of the airways (tubes that carry air in and out of the lungs) prevents the airways from clearing mucus out of the lungs therefore becoming scarred.
Unlike Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease COPD includes two main conditions, Emphysema the walls between the air sacs become damaged due to inflammation while the air sacs become floppy, while reducing the exchange of gas in the lungs. Whereas bronchitis the lining of the airways is constantly irritated, inflamed causing the lining to thicken and making it harder to breathe.
Whereas asthma sufferers have inflamed airways making them swollen and sensitive. Which make the airways react strongly to certain inhaled substances, therefore, when the airways react to the muscles around them tighten and causes the airways to narrow allowing less air into the lungs producing an “asthma attack.”
Vitamin D a seco – steroid hormone important for the inflammatory response of the immune system. Studies conducted in a murine model of asthma found the hormonal form of vitamin D shifted the T – regulatory lymphocyte response from T – cell 1 to the less inflammatory T helper cell 2 dominant phenotype. In two studies increasing the vitamin D increased the production of Il – 10 (which is an inflammatory cytokines involved in many inflammatory diseases.)

Pancreatic Cancer: malignant neoplasm originating from cells that arise in tissues from the pancreas. The most common type accounting for 95% of all pancreatic cancer cases, adenocarcinoma arising with in the exocrine component of the pancreas while also a slim minority arises from the islet cells classified as neuroendocrine tumors. The signs and symptoms of pancreatic facts on cancer are abdominal, lower back pain and jaundice (yellowish skin tone and tint to the whites of your eyes).
Long know to cause blood clotting, pancreatic cancer remains one of the most feared malignancies because there isn’t an effective screening test, whereas, chemotherapy and radiation are the only modesty useful. While surgery the only reliable cure, often is not possible at the stage when most people present the disease to their doctor.
Common risk factors include family history of which 5 -10% pancreatic cancer patients are based off genetics and hereditary issues. With age the risk of developing pancreatic cancer increases after age 60 while cases before age 40 are uncommon. While diets high in red meat, sugar sweeten drinks and which are low in fruits and vegetables (see higher risk of pancreatic cancer). Also the risk are higher with H. pylori infections, and also having gingivitis or periodontal disease while the bacteria in gum disease acts alot like cancer cells.
Being chronic pancreatitis can lead to pancreatic cancer “if ” your not careful. I have a Facebook Friend that has a crowning achievement in my eyes. Meet Stacey Hartwell Fields, after going to doctor after doctor for 10 years, as they tried every medicine on her and nothing worked. She decided to become retro-proactive. Becoming her own guardian angel and changing her eating habits drastically.
Knowing in her heart what she had to do from exhaustive research. I decided to cut out all fats (as I learned my stomach couldn’t handle them, meaning no dairy, nuts and very little to no meats.) While realizing carbs for energy is advise…. she quickly starting eating veggies and fruits as a main staple (at a 5:1 ratio) as to be careful.
Stacey also stated she began flooding her body with antioxidants, with Grape Seed Extract, black seed oil, gogi berries — maca her personal choice. While also started consuming Hemp Seed Hearts for protein and turmeric to help subdue her pain issues. While also eating Apricot Kernels by way of a product called protandim, a super antioxidant until it got to costly.

Prostate Cancer: a cancer that developes in a gland that is in the male reproductive system. Most prostate cancers are slow growing, however, there are cases of agressive prostate cancers. Prostate cancer is associated with urinary dysfunction as the prostate gland surrounds the prostatic uretha. Changes within the gland, therefore, directly affects the urinary function.
Advanced prostate cancer can spread to other parts of the body and the most common symptoms are bone pain, often in the vertebrae (the bones in the spine), pelvis area and ribs. Prostate cancer in the spine can also compress the spinal cord, causing leg weakness, urinary and also fecal incontinence. A complete understanding of the causes of prostate cancer remains elusive. Prostate cancer is very uncommon in men younger than 45, and the facts on cancer becomes more common with advancing age.
Most men never realize they have prostate cancer, autopsy have revealed that men who died of other causes. Have showed that thirty percent of men in their 50’s and 80% of men in their 70’s have prostate cancer. While also, compounding the problem…. The United States Preventive Services Task Force in 2012 recommended a gainst screening for prostate cancer using PSA testing. Due to the variables involved, risk of over – diagnosis and treatment with most prostate cancer remaining asymptomatic.
One columnist I enjoy reading is Dr. Keith Roach in the newspaper everyday, and in this letter which came from a 81 year old male. Reviewed the effect saw palmetto, Finasteride and related medicine “Dutasteride,” had on prostate enlargement. According to Dr. Roach saw palmetto does very little to help reduce the size of the prostate, as well has little impact on the risk of cancer.
Also in Dr. Roach’s professional opinion, “Finasteride,” shrinks prostate size and helped to reduce prostate cancer 25%. However, the number of aggressive prostate cancer seemed to be higher in men taking Finasteride and the number of studies indicate Finasteride might not increase your risk for cancer. Also trials on Dutasteride also shows a reduction in overall prostate cancer but a small incease in aggressive cancers.
What Dr. Roach than went on to say, “that getting regular exercise and eating plenty of fruit and vegetables, while also limiting your red meat consumption in moderation can significantly reduce the risk of aggressive prostate cancer.” Also his booklet on prostate enlargement and cancer can be obtain writing Dr. Roach at P.O. Box 536475, Orlando Fla. 32853-6475 while including a check or money order (no cash) for $4.75 Us/$6 Canadien.
